Take A Break.

Sis brought back her Lappy and she was kind-hearted enough to download a movie for me to watch over the weekend. It was The Other Boleyn Girl. I happily thought that I had a romantic comedy movie to waste my time on. See see the setting is during the 18th century. And I didn't laugh at any scene. =.=

Natalie Portman was in it and I dunno whether is it just me but I thought it was weird to see Natalie with long (silky smooth!! Sorry I love saying that. Zohan got me.) hair. I mean the last time I watched a movie with her in it was V for Vendetta and I vividly remember her being bald in it... Anyway I didnt finish it. Felt a tad bit guilty for not studying.

//

I am so thankful that I'm getting a break from reality.
A break from everything.
Goodbye Ipoh!
And Hello China.

P/S: Happy Birthday in advance to myself ! and Dad in case I don't have the time to blog
tomorrow.
And of course to you, Angelyn! Have a great one.

Converse No. 3

First thing's first.
I've been tagged by Sueli but I'm too lazy to do it.
And I've been awarded by Mabel ages ago and I just realised it.
Thanks anyway!

Secondly,
I would like to announce the arrival of a new pair of Converse into my collection. Whoop me!
I've been hoping to get a printed one though.

Noticed the Germany flag??

I guess that's my early birthday present from Dad. Really nice of him considering he hardly gave me anything during my birthdays and I ain't complaining or showing my dissatisfaction cos well, nobody owes me anything. Especially my parents. I owe them everything. That's something most teens conveniently forget or never realised. Seriously. Using parent's hard-earned money like nobody's business on useless stuffs as though money is like pee. Dude! Wake up, man.

Oh and I am proud to say that I have the same birth date with Dad.

I am truly Daddy's little girl.

Face Problem.

I have been trying to online for the past few days but unfortunately the DSL keeps blinking for God knows what reason. I'm already at the end of my tether. And its seems that I'm the only one in my family whom the DSL blinks for. What the hell. Must be my face punya pasal. Yup, my sis must be right. Face problem. But for now, she's wrong. Hahahaha!

Anyway, there ain't anything interesting to blog about this week. Unless you consider me hitting my head at the corner of the freezer door while taking a Yakult out from the fridge interesting...The pain was excruciating.
Oh and I was in JJ yesterday and I finally ate in Black Canyon. That was my first time. (Okay, don't laugh!) And on my way out I saw this IIS bus thingy and I think they actually have a shuttle bus to JJ! What the hell? Man, MC doesn't even own a bus!

Going to Diana's tomorrow for a Buka Puasa Party! That's probably ze most happening thing for me this week. I'll probably have the chance to finally meet Hannah the cat tomorrow. Whooop!!

Weird Fact.
Did you ever noticed that Mona Lisa has no eyebrows? It seems that back in those days, shaving your eyebrows is a trend.
Who knew?

Note to self : Buy Honey Chicken.

Dung's Day.

HAPPY SWEET SIXTEEN, DUNG

I won't say much here cos I think the video I made for ya would describe everything. I know you're touched and flabbergasted and you better be! Hahaha. Anyway, I would like to thank everyone who helped me make the video a success. Dung, your sweet sixteen is sweet. For you, for me and for all of us. Lastly, thank you so much for sticking with me through all the ups and downs. Thank you for knocking some sense into me when I'm crapping. Thank you for kicking my ass and being pissed at me when I'm not sensitive enough to notice something is wrong. Thank you for sitting beside me in class cos if it is not for you, I wouldn't know I actually do have homework to do. Thank you for bringing my stuff back to class when I left it in the canteen. Thank you for tahan-ing me in class when I sing Row Row Row Your Boat in my own version. Thank you, Sueli. Lastly, you suck!

And The Nightmare Begins.

I watched it twice. First time, I laughed till my Twisties flew outta my mouth. Second time, I just laughed. Nothing flew outta my mouth. Phew! Overall, its mindless humour. But still, it did make me laugh.

I still have not watched Wall.E ! Eva's the name of the girl robot right? ( According to Deb's blog )You see. The producers have really good taste. :D

If you wish to laugh or look at some idiotic pictures of me, please log on to :

The Post.

Diana came over today! It was totally last minute. She just called and said, "Eva, I come to ur house now, k? Since I'm fetching my bro to Maziah, " and in about 5 minutes, she's here. So happy!! I was really really lonely la the whole day. Walked over to Ipoh Swimming Club to have lunch. Alone, sadly. Why lah? Why lah nobody lives near me?? WHY?

But I had fun today with Diana. She made my day. Like srsly. And I desperately need to find someone to fetch me around. Wish my sis is back. Cos I'm kinda scared to take the taxi alone cos I might get raped. It is very dangerous for a 16 actually 15+ year old girl to take the taxi by herself which is driven by an old Cina Ah Pek. Who knows the Cina Ah Pek might go all high ? Cannot. Dangerous. Maybe I should just stick with in-door entertainment. Man!

//edit

Sometimes when we're to busy with our lives we tend to forget to notice all the small things around us. So today while I was brushing my teeth, I actually took the time to scrutinize my bathroom and I realised there are 9 toothbrushes, 3 tubes of toothpastes and a variety of shampoos and body wash. WHO THE HELL NEEDS 9 toothbrushes when there is only 3 person using ze toilet. Its not like I have 3 mouth or something..

PICS.

Girls can be aggresive at times.

Yo! Greetings from Eva.

De-Stress.

I'M BACK.
I'M BACK FROM CAMP.
I'M BACK FROM THEORY EXAMS.
I'M BACK FROM HECTIC DAYS.
I'M BACK TO ENJOY MY HOLIDAYS.
Even if I'm spending it here in Ipoh alone instead of Phillipines.

:)

**

So, I have not relaxed yet even though monthly test was over like ages ago. But no worries. I have a couple more days left. I missed out on lotsa things this week. I feel so un-happening. So anyone wanna make some plans with me? Haha.

Just came back from camp. And theory exam. I finally feel so relieved. Camp was okay lah. Wanted to study for my exams but I spent most of my time cooking for the juniors instead. So now my hand smells like a cross between garlic, honey, raw chicken marinated in BBQ Sauce and onions. How handy ey?

Need to bathe. Have not bathe properly since yesterday.

Have faith, restart.

Eva's List of Problems

  1. I have three sets of theory paper which consists of 15 long, brain cracking composing work to do in a week. To be exact, 5 days.
  2. As though doing theory is not exhausting enough, monthly test is next week and I have very limited time to study all subjects. Not to mention my chemistry stinks.
  3. I bought Sunday SMI Play tickets and I have a camp I must attend on the same day in order to be a Ranger.
  4. It is not any ordinary camp but 8th Coy's camp which means I have to go as a guide not a madam just because I failed to attend the Rangers' Camp earlier this year with an extremely solid reason - I am halfway across the globe. How to attend you tell me? Plus, I organised last year's 8th Coy's Camp with my fellow leaders.
  5. I have to sacrifice my holiday to Philippines with Dad & Mum cos of my theory exam which is on the 18th of August. And it was suppose to be my first time there and that's where Marc & Rovilson came from.
  6. Therefore, I have no transport to go to the Theory exam in Tarcisian Convent cos Dad & Mum are busy holidaying while my sis is in KL studying. HOW YOU TELL ME??!!
  7. And adding on to the list, Rangers enrolment is on the 16th. Sketch is not done. And I have to be a responsible person since I volunteered to be in-charge of it.
  8. Oh and Mr Lau is bugging me about the Moral Drama thingy which I reckon everybody ain't so keen in making it a success.
  9. I want to go to Philippines.
  10. Lastly, my problem is that I have too many problems at the same time for me to handle.

Have faith, Restart?

No more lazy Wednesdays.

Ahh.. Today. The joy and happiness of waking up late on a weekday. Lazily, I dragged my bottom that has been stuck on my bed for hours and decided to hit the beach to place my bottom on the lazy chair. I was in this really cute bikini top ( oh, and bottom! ) with a glass of cocktail on my right and a hot hunk on my left. Ahhh.. The view.. Spectacular!
Yeah, right. Fat chance. I'm actually in my pyjamas without wearing my bra ( not like I really need one anyway ) sitting on my couch with a bottle of mineral water on my right and a pillow on my left. =.= Not complaining since I didn't need to wake up early today, I switched on my TV and flip through a few channels. Then I stopped at Asian Food Channel. The chef was really tempting me with his dishes. Sizzling garlics and onions with shrimps. Mmmm.. It looked really good until he decided to pour some melted bitter chocolate on it. I was like , WHAT???? CHOCOLATE?? Of all things.. =.= * flips channel * And then I stopped at MTV Cribs. That's interesting. Since I'm a part of Boys Are Girls, I might as well learn to live big like a celebrity. Tee hee. As I watched, I realised being a celebrity is like a business and the product you're selling is... yourself. So all you have to do is promote yourself. How hard can it be?? But of course, you have to have the looks, the body, the talent and the it factor. Unfortunately, I have none of the above so I might as well just go back to square one. Geez .. This sucks. I'll just wash up and start studying for the upcoming test. * Switch off da TV *

P/S: Members of BAG, we need to find a better group name. Srsly. It ain't working.

Boys Are Girls.

Last Thursday, Boys are Girls had their first gathering/nap-over in Sueli's headquarter. Those who were present fer this gathering/nap-over that was planned last minute were non other than me, Sueli, Diana, Kim, Suiee and YKit. We were supposed to make our music video for our very first single but unfortunately it didnt work out. Thanks to the distraction of Mrs Sueli's mum's scrumptious food. After all the food stuffing, we decided to work out cos we're superstars. And superstars must look good. At all times. So we walked to Diana's house. I didnt get to meet Hannah the cat cos she was busy with her feline friends, i guess. Then we went walked back to the headquarter. It was kind of a long walk so it drained most of our energy. And yes, we ate more after that. Unfortunately, superstars have to study too. We ended our nap-over with Chemistry lessons with LcTan. What a joy! Whoop.

Stay tuned for more.

RULE1 : Each player of this game starts of with 10 weird things/habits/little known facts about yourself. People who get tagged have to write a blog of their own 10 weird things/habits/little know facts as well as state this rule clearly. At the end you need to choose 5 people to be tagged and list their names. No TAG backs!

  1. I do Add Math when I'm down cos I'll just forget about all my worries and worry about solving the question instead.
  2. I tend to blush easily. Even when I laugh and sneeze too loudly. Geez..
  3. I am a hopeless blogger. My nuffnang earnings are still unfortunately, RM0.00
  4. The radio must be tuned to Fly Fm all the time especially when I'm bathing. Don't ask me why.
  5. I have been friends with Sueli for 9 years and its still in counting.
  6. My favourite character in F.R.I.E.N.D.S. is Ross ! ! Nerds are somehow attractive. Haha.
  7. Bowling is really not my thang. Don't get me wrong.. I like bowling. I just suck at it, thats all. =)
  8. I like the smell of my petticoat. Yes, I do.
  9. I've been single for the past 15 years and 9 months of my life. I'm not complaining! Its not that bad actually.
  10. Er, I'm a leftie. So I can't use the potato peeler. Cos no one bothers to invent the potato- peeler-for-lefties. I reckon I should make one of those.

I tag : Anyone who is reading this now.

Changes. Do you like it?

My leg hurts.
So does my butt.
Thanks to IIR.
But I'm not complaining cos I had a great time ! A few of us went to Hollywood after the run. So who says you need to be rich to go to Hollywood?? Haha. Okay, we went to the Hollywood Restaurant. It was the nearest halal restaurant from stadium since Diana joined us. I didnt get the cert though. Reached around 10 minutes later. So I averagely took about 10 minutes to run 1km. Not that bad for my standards. :)
No pics on IIR this time. Cos we kinda forgot to take pics. I guess we were really hungry. Overall, I think IIR left some sweet memories for some of us. At least for my base buddy!

*
The sister left.
The house is so quiet.
Even I'm more quiet than usual.
I remember not talking for 5 hours on Monday.
Its just so different. I spend most of my time with the sister when she's around. She fetches me to school. And back from school. Then we have lunch at our usual spot, Tesco Pelita. Come to think of it, I have not been there for quite some time. Then we chat more when we're at home. Then we laugh out really loud when we watch Hannah Montana, Hope & Faith, My Wife & Kids and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. The harsh reality of the sister who is not gonna be with me everyday, not gonna sleep with me in the same room anymore, and not gonna pick me up from school everyday is really not sinking in. Yet, I hope. I really need to get use to this. I know its for her own good but its not that easy for me, ya know.
Maybe its just me ...

Oh-So-Boring.

Hari ini ialah Open Day. My parents didn't wanna come at first cos they have better stuff to do. But they said they will confirm with me later which they didnt, mind you. So in the end both of them came. At different times. Mum came earlier, so I went back with her. Then later Dad came and asked Pn.Yamini, where was I. Too late, Dad! Haha. My results were okay. Number 2 in class mah. I'm satisfied, at least. Except for my Chemistry. I have no chemistry with chemistry. Trust meh. My lowest marks compared to the other subjects. I seriously gotta buck up on my Chemistry..

Nothing much is happening in my life lately. Not that it has been very happening before anyway.
Events coming up :

Ipoh International Run this Sunday.
I have yet to go to the ISC gym to time myself on how long do I take to run 5km.

KL this Fiday.
Sis is leaving to HELP. So I have to make a trip there to help her settle down and everything. I'm trying to face the fact that she is finally leaving the nest.. Not too excited bout it. Sighs.

According to Nuffnang, I actually have 73 views so far. Whoa! I didn't even know people actually read my blog. So to those who is reading this now, thanks! Really.

The Jab. Tak Suka.

Trashed school today!
Supposed to go KL for Sis's uni stuff but Mr.Dad cancelled it.
Again.
For the second time.
So I just went back to sleep like an angel. (:

Dad has been nagging me and Sis to take this cervical cancer prevention jab thingy and we finally took the jab today!
Boy, I hate jabs.
Don't jabs just suck?
I never liked jabs.
So now, after taking the jab for approximately 9 hours, my hand is still numb. And it hurts a teensy weensy bit A LOT! Okay, I'm exaggerating. It just hurts. All the more reasons to hate jabs. Nyeh nyeh. I can't lift my right hand higher than my shoulders. Sighs. Thank god the doctor injected it on my right hand! :) Unfortunately, I have to take another 2 doses of this jab. Later.
Phew!

Oh and did I mention how hilarious Get Smart was??

Officially Broke. Then 50 bucks came along.

I'm running out of ideas for the title of my posts..

So, another week gone. Its quite an eventful week actually. :D Firstly, it was Jee An's birthday on Wed. Which means present. Which also means money. ( I didn't have enough time to make him one. ) Which also means I'm officially broke. But everything's okay now. Dad gave me my other half of my allowance.

Then, the World War 2 bomb that I'm quite sure most of you all know by now. Seriously, I think its really cool. Too bad the bomb's not anywhere near school. If not .. nyeh nyeh nyeh! Just joking lah. Cos where the hell am I suppose to go to school then? Hahaa.

As for today, got Rangers test! I failed it anyway. Everyone else too!! :) Really funneh lah today! Beh tahan.

Random Question :
Have you ever thought why do we need eyebrows for? I mean, eyelashes are for trapping dust to prevent it from entering ur eyes. How bout eyebrows?? Hmm..

June 15, 2008

Sunday Morning, rain is not falling.

First thing's first.
Happy Father's Day, Paps!
I love you, Dad!
I got up super early today for Starwalk and to make tea for my dear dad. :D I am such a filial daughter, I amaze myself. Hahaa. Just wanted to do something for my dad before going to stadium. Anyway, I reached the stadium quite late so I had to fight my way to the registration booth. Practically the whole SamTet and AMC turned up for Starwalk. Everywhere Jane, Sueli and I go all we can hear is ching chang chong ching. Hahha. Don't get me wrong. I have nothing against them. Just that it was really awkward that everybody around us was speaking in Chinese. So the walk was 10km and believe it or not, I don't feel tired cos got friends to chat with mah while walking. Haha. Too bad we didn't reach within 100 minutes. Jane was a bit unwell. Jane if you're reading this, Hope you're feeling better now! Saw some friends while I was walking and Jane was like Hey! to her church friends every, i dunno, 5 minutes or so. Hahaha. It was fun lah in a nutshell. Feel like joining it again next year. Aiming for the cert. I know, I'm lame.

P/S: Sueli, IIR join k! Qian, Starwalk join k!

June 09, 2008

Gone are the holidays and school's in.
*BIG SULK!*
I kinda forgot to pack my bag.
So this was what I did this morning.
I grabbed my school bag and opened the zip.
Hey! There are books in it. Okay, settled.
Time to go to school.

The Trip to . . .

I went to J.Co Donuts during the holidays. And as you can see from the pic above, half a dozen of donuts cost 29,000 bucks. Yes, I am serious. You must be wondering WHAT THE?? Made out of Gold ar the donuts? I'm sorry to dissapoint you but those are just donuts. Same ol' donuts. Okay, I'll stop acting rich. Its 29,000 Rupiahs. :D So yes, I went to Indonesia for the holidays this time.

The trip was fun other than the ugly episodes in the toilet or in other words, diarrhea. But that was just towards the end of the trip. Oh and shopping there is confusing firstly cos Indo's currency has endless 0000 but as you get used to it, its fun! Haha. Which means I bought a lot of things from Indo. Things of course includes clothes, clothes, another pair of Converse (yesh!!) and ducks. Yes, ducks. Bamboo ducks. 16 of 'em. Thanks to my mum. So I can actually have a team of footballer ducks with a couple more for the reserve team. Worst part of the ducks? Have to hand carry it back all the way from Indo with the ducks' head sticking outta the plastic bags catching a lot of people's attention. Thank god I didn't met anyone I know on my way back! Phew.

I went to Jakarta, Jokjakarta, Bandung (day trip), Prambanan (day trip)( I actually met my tuition mate there. ) and Borobudur (day trip also). This trip is quite, well, like the Sej textbook? Haha. Again I went to the places the textbook had stated. Coincidently. Like Candi Prambanan & Candi Borobudur. These candis are no joke I tell yah. Carvings, stones, architecture, etc .. Lucky for me I read the Sej textbook fer exams so it is interesting to see the candis real life. Oh and remember reading the Epik Ramayana in Sej? I watched that while I was there. Not exactly interesting cos it was long winded but at least I have a lil bit of knowledge bout the epic. ;)

Okay, let the pic do the talking.

Volcano Crater

Um, there was food.

Demonstration. I think I was on local TV :D

Hey look! Dummy reading.

My extremely cute but spoilt niece.

Me promoting Candi Prambanan. They should really make me their poster girl.

Itulah Candi Prambanan.

Bananas? To poo.

Missing it already...

Next holiday boleh pergi mana??Hmm..

Why ?

Humans are never contented with what they have in life. Why is that so? I'm still searching for the answer. And why can't we learn to be contented with life? Are we just programmed to be like that? Or being contented is just too subjective? Lets see. I always wanted a pair of Converse. Now that I finally have one, I want another pair. Why?? Okay, lets see it in a non-materialistic perspective. When your period's not coming at the right time, you will say : Shit lah. So long still haven't come one ah. When it finally comes, you'll say : Ish. So farn lah become a girl. Always also bleed. YOR! So, am I the only one that is learning to be contented with life or are you all out there facing the same problem as I am? I find it really hard at times because maybe most of us are very lucky to be borned in an average, upper middle class or even of a higher class family. I feel we are blinded by ka-chings. Anyways, I just found out about this book - The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari . Maybe it can answer my ample questions about life?

May 26, 2008

Of Shoes & Skinny Jeans.

We really dont get all the things that we want in life.
Sighs.
