Of Open Houses and Politicians.

Curse the bugger who bang-ed the cable post in front of my house. Seriously, of all houses why must it be mine? Thank God I can finally online now.

Recently went to a lot of open houses. Trust me, I can never get enough of Indian food. Its just so yummay! ! I went to my dad's friend's open house and boy, the food was like heaven. Heaven I tell yah! So I was so busy with the food that I did not notice that Anne, the German exchange student was there as well. I didn't know she was staying with Uncle Kula. That was not the only surprising thing for the night. While I was indulging myself with the OMG-So-Tasty food, suddenly a man was walking down the porch shaking everybody's hand. As usual, being myself, I paid full attention on the food and when he finally reached my place, I looked up to shake his hands and TADA~ Lim Kit Siang standing in front of me. Fuiyo. Its not everyday you get to see him. Hahaa.

The best open house? Pavi's. Hands down. It may not be a big house with fancy furniture and a huge compound. It may not have the most and best tasting food. It may not have the big shots and VIP attending her open house. It may not have fire-crackers. But it was the best open house. Why? Her grandmother cooked all the food on the table instead of catering. She made me feel so at home just like it was my house. She offered us cookies and murukus. She apologised for not making rasam for me when I was just joking. It was just her family and her friends. Isn't that the whole point of having a open house? To spend quality time and to do something for your relatives and friends that is from the heart? Thanks so much, Pavi! Oh, and I must admit, Chandra Gupti is a very interesting woman.

Like I promised, updates on China Trip. I'm just gonna load a couple of pics since blogger's not really co-operating and it has been so long ago anyway.

Nice place to search deep inside you.

These are slippers. Actually were slippers.
People wear flip flops now.

HAHAHAAAA! My name seriously rocks.
5 star hotel wey. Good taste with the name.

Not so typical stuff to find in China.

And then the typical stuff you find there.

Mountains, rivers, that's what you get.
During the China Dynasties, they actually do have porn. In a well, more solid form.
Won't post the pic here. But if you're curious, its printed on porcelains.

**
Screw end year exams.
I will not be so spontaneous after what happened yesterday.
There is a price to pay.
Arms ache like hell now.
Anyway, can't wait to celebrate Deepavali in Pavi's open house.
Please say this post is not a feeble attempt to revive my dying blog.

//
I just missed the train.
And I think its something good.

EvaDiva's Day.

My long over-due post.

Thank you so much to all my friends and family!
Secondly, I came back from China about a week ago.
And I apologise for not updating my pityful blog.
Thirdly, Rangers farewell is over.
Fourthly, I finally went to 1U to stuff myself
with Shogun's scrumptious food.

I am very thankful for all the birthday wishes and birthday cards from Jane, Eldon, Mr Insurance Man & handmade ones from Sueli! I will always love my family no matter how weird they are. I am very grateful for everything my friends did and planned for me. I am very lucky to have Sueli as my annoying bestie for 9 years and still in counting. I am very thankful to everyone who made my birthday a special one this year!!

PS: Boy was I surprised to get a guitar for my birthday!! I thought the mini one was how close I was to get a guitar. And Sueli actually wrote me a song!! More surprised, I was. Because it actually sounded good. Hahaha! And the cupcakes, they were delicious! Especially when it is made from the heart. Just exactly how Eva Diva likes it.

PPS: Updates about China trip and recent events in the next post!
