That's my foot by the way.4th Unit Rangers was in charge of Bird Watching and we represented the Malaysian Nature Society during the Mini Tourism Carnival in school. Yes, bird watching where people watch birds. I am an environmentalist but I have to say it was the most boring booth of the day. The booth had all the information about birds and the Malaysian Nature Society members actually brought along a DVD about birds. If anybody out there have insomnia, I strongly recommend you to watch that DVD. It takes about 5 minutes max. to put you to sleep. Achievement of the day? We sold a book which costs RM45 to Mr Lau who bought it after some convincing and gave away approximately 5 membership forms to those who were genuinely interested in birds. Come to think of it, most of the members of the Malaysian Nature Society are teachers and from what I saw, single. I'm afraid the chances of me joining them over the years are pretty high. Not because I would like to be a teacher but I might be a bitter old woman and somehow developed a liking towards birds.
